As the first Maintenance Engineer at Klüber Lubrication Türkiye, I played a key role in establishing the maintenance department and introducing a maintenance mindset across the organization. Our first project focused on setting up the maintenance structure, followed by initiating the tracking of key performance indicators such as MTTR and MTBF to analyze the current situation.

I created and implemented a failure notification form to systematically monitor breakdowns and developed annual maintenance plans for all machines. Our work is based on the principles of Operational Excellence. Critical spare parts lists have been created, and procurement processes have been budgeted and initiated.

I actively support projects aimed at increasing production efficiency, as well as ongoing energy efficiency programs. I am also responsible for organizing and supervising contractors for mechanical, electrical, and civil works to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.

I also supported the commissioning of the thermal oil boiler system, column and beam reinforcement works as part of the seismic strengthening project, and the commissioning of the base oil pump station.

My main goals for the upcoming period are to establish a structured periodic maintenance program and to implement predictive maintenance practices.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Chief at İndorama İplik, I was responsible for a 36-person mechanical maintenance team across two spinning yarn production facilities. My responsibilities included organizing the maintenance team, preparing and implementing annual maintenance plans, scheduling weekly machine maintenance activities in coordination with the production team, and recording all breakdowns. I conducted root cause analyses to identify failure causes and implemented corrective actions to reduce downtime.

I actively monitored daily downtime, took necessary actions to improve equipment availability, implemented 5S practices in the workshops, ensured order and cleanliness, and managed spare parts inventory and procurement processes.

Additionally, I was involved in the replacement project of 8 Toyoda ring machines (1997 models) with new Rieter G37 ring machines, contributing to the planning and execution phases of the project.

As a Technical Maintenance Engineer at Sareks Ambalaj, I was responsible for managing and organizing a 6-person team consisting of 2 mechanical maintenance technicians, 2 electrical maintenance technicians, 1 utility technician, and 1 technical warehouse supervisor. My responsibilities included preparing and implementing maintenance plans, troubleshooting equipment failures, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurrence, applying predictive maintenance practices, managing spare parts inventory and procurement, organizing contractor works, monitoring energy consumption to ensure optimal savings, and supervising utility systems.

Additionally, I was involved in the analysis and update of the factory layout project, machine relocation activities, and provided support for the relocation of the Windmöller Blown Extruder machine from the Istanbul Korozo plant to the Çerkezköy Sareks facility. I also ensured the installation of the BST 100% print inspection system on the ELPA Flexo printing machine and supported the IT department in implementing the MESS system across the factory.

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at Piramit İplik, I was responsible for coordinating the mechanical maintenance team, preparing machine maintenance instructions, creating and implementing maintenance plans, monitoring and procuring spare parts inventory, and ensuring the operation and sustainability of utility systems. I reported directly to the Plant Manager.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Hema Endüstri, I was responsible for organizing quality operators, investigating customer complaints, preparing 8D reports, developing control plans and SPC documents, and providing final approval for customer orders.

Reported directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.

I took part in spare part manufacturing, cable machine overhauls, and cable machine production in our workshop equipped with 2 manual lathes, 2 milling machines, 1 gear hobbing machine, 1 shaping machine, 1 drilling machine, and 1 band saw.
I was responsible for technical drawing preparation, procurement of required parts (hardware, laser cutting, etc.), organization of machine operators, and shipment loading operations.
