• After my marketing manager experience, I decided to build up my own business and founded Bercantex Garment Manufacturing
• In addition to my previous experiences, I mostly dealt with finance, accounting, and human resources at this stage of my professional life
• Bercantex has successfully produced 62 styles and 350,000 pcs
• Also, Bercantex reached a turnover of 32 million ₺ (941 thousand $) in this short time
• However, we have decided to stop our activities to keep our capital due to the high inflation rate up to 60% and 90-120 days payment terms in Turkey

• My main mission was managing customer relationships and giving them the best service they need and leading the merchandiser team
• Responsibilities:
• - Making costing and giving price offers
• - Suggesting alternatives to catch the target price by reducing the cost
• - Leading risk analysis meetings with the production team before accepting the order
• - Managing the production capacity and specifying the price offer strategy according to booked capacity
• - Leading the production meetings and finding solutions to problems
• - Managing short and long-term customer options strategies
• - Searching for new fabrics and trims by attending fairs and following the trends

• My primary mission was to supply a product with the best quality, at the best price, in the shortest time
• - Managing short and long-term buying strategy
• - Supplying annually over 5M pieces jersey (top and bottom)
• - Responsible for OTB management, 30% of the budget to source within 4-6 weeks
• - Managing the seasonal buying calendar
• - Building up sourcing strategy and supply base management for domestic and overseas orders which includes Turkey, Bangladesh, China, Egypt & India
• - Managing the supplier's performance in terms of delivery, quality, and price sustainability
• My workflow was as below:
• - Attending sketch sign-off meetings and giving production critics about the designed style
• - Collecting proto samples from suppliers
• - Attending sample sign-off meetings and giving critics about cost
• - Doing open costing with suppliers

• My main mission was following collection, costing, quotation, and production process and progress
• My workflow was as below:
• - Planning the collection and development requests
• - Determination of the materials (fabrics&trims) according to the collection requests and ordering with the responsible team members
• - Following up deadlines of the collection materials
• - Translating the technical files and informing all related departments
• Getting the sampling process started by them
• - Informing customers about the collection process
• - After proto samples, calculating the costs, giving price offers, making quotations, and deals with the customer
• - After the sampling process, receiving the order forms and technical files
• Translating them and uploading the ERP system
• - Following up production materials (fabrics&trims) and deadlines with the related departments
• - Following up production processes such as cutting, printing, embroidery, sewing, and packing with the related departments
• - Informing customers about the production process
• - Attending production meetings
• - Attending the meetings with customers

During my university education, I got educated on all processes in the textile sector. Fiber, yarn, woven fabric, knitted fabric, dyeing and printing processes, and garment processes were my main lessons.
