Buket Karakaş

I am a Chemical Engineering student at Yıldız Technical University, planning to graduate in 2026. I am a highly motivated engineering student with a strong enthusiasm for gaining experience across diverse areas such as sales, R&D, production, and marketing. As part of my undergraduate chemical engineering curriculum, I participated in a project focused on the theoretical modeling and optimization of a pharmaceutical production line, covering essential unit operations such as mixing, filtration, and drying.

Within this project:

• Flow diagrams for active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) production were developed,
• Process parameters were analyzed using MATLAB and Excel,
• Scenario comparisons were conducted for yield, cost, and time optimization,
• Production planning was simulated in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.

This project strengthened my interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing and allowed me to enhance my technical and analytical problem-solving skills. I am currently receiving training on key industry standards and regulatory practices, including:

• HPLC, GLP, and GMP principles,
• ISO 13485:2016 – Quality Management System for Medical Devices,
• ISO 14155:2020 – Good Clinical Practice (GCP) for clinical investigations,
• FDA 21 CFR Part 820 – Quality System Regulation.

These trainings are scheduled to be completed within one month, and I will receive official certificates upon successful completion.

Additionally, I am currently enrolled in the Advanced Project Management training program provided by BTK Academy, where I am strengthening my knowledge in project planning, execution, and control methodologies

I am eager to contribute to real projects and develop innovative ideas. I believe Abdi Ibrahim’s dynamic and reputable environment is the ideal place to grow professionally while making a positive impact. I am available to work at least two days a week in Istanbul .I am excited to apply for the “İlaç Gibi Gelecek” Long-Term Internship Program. As a passionate and motivated chemical engineering student, I am eager to contribute to the pharmaceutical industry and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, innovative environment.

I possess strong communication skills and an analytical mindset, which I have developed through my academic projects and practical experiences. Additionally, I am fluent in English, which allows me to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and handle international standards. Thank you for considering my application.
