Motivated Biomedical Engineering undergraduate with strong academic foundation and project experience in assistive technologies, medical devices, and molecular biology. Finalist at Regeneron ISEF 2024 with a nationally awarded biomedical innovation, and currently serving as Organizer of Google Developer Groups (GDG) On Campus – TOBB ETÜ . Passionate about pursuing a research career in biomedical sciences and neuroscience , with a growing interest in the application of artificial intelligence in healthcare . Eager to contribute to laboratory-based studies and interdisciplinary projects that drive scientific and technological innovation in medicine.
Appointed as the Organizer of GDG On Campus TOBB ETÜ, responsible for leading community initiatives that connect students with cutting-edge technologies in software development, AI, and innovation. My role includes:
Finalist – Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2024
Achieved a national award with a biomedical engineering project and represented Turkey as a finalist at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) 2024 , the world's most prestigious pre-college STEM competition, bringing together over 1,800 top young scientists from more than 80 countries.
Presented the project “Pupil Motion-Based Neck Support Device”, an innovative assistive technology developed to support patients with motor neuron disease (MND) and neck mobility impairments . The device integrates pupil-tracking (via Raspberry Pi and OpenCV), joystick control, servo motors, and a gyroscope-based safety alert system to actively support head movements, delay muscle loss, and enhance patients' ability to communicate and maintain eye contact. Unlike conventional passive devices, this system provides active mobility, adaptability to different users, and potential for IoT/AI-based future integrations , significantly improving quality of life for individuals with neuromuscular disabilities
