I am a final-year student at Istanbul Technical University, majoring in Climate Science and Meteorological Engineering. In addition, I am currently pursuing a second bachelor's degree in Aviation Management through the Open Education Faculty of Anadolu University. This multidisciplinary background allows me to combine technical expertise with an operational perspective in the aviation and environmental sectors.
Through academic training and internships, I have developed interdisciplinary skills in atmospheric modelling, hydrology, aviation operations, and environmental data analysis. I gained hands-on experience at MNG Airlines (flight dispatch), Akar-Su Engineering (hydrological consulting) and conducted air quality assessments using R.
I have working knowledge of R programming, WRF atmospheric modelling, Linux-based systems, and QGIS for spatial data processing and visualization.
In my graduation thesis, I conducted detailed temperature and precipitation trend analyses using both observational data and model outputs, gaining experience in assessing climate variability.
Separately, in my design project, I focused on the energy field, specifically evaluating solar and wind energy potential through site analysis, energy production estimation, and performance evaluation, gaining practical knowledge in energy meteorology and renewable systems.
Additionally, I contributed to a modelling and simulation team, supporting data integration, model performance evaluation, and technical reporting processes.
