Belgüzar Dilan Akkuş

I am currently studying Tourism Guidance at university and dedicated to becoming a professional tour guide in my country. My goal is to expand my skills by guiding in Chinese, Spanish, and Russian languages as well.

I graduated from a Tourism Vocational High School, specializing in Tour Transfer Operations. During high school, I completed a five-month internship and quickly became the lead operator thanks to my strong work ethic and commitment. Starting at age 15, I was responsible for organizing and managing group and private transfers for up to 200 arrivals and 200 departures in a single day during peak season.

I worked during the summer months at the same agency where I did my internship. I managed guides’ sales and payments and gained experience using Excel and Word. This early hands-on experience has significantly developed my skills in tourism operations, and I am eager to keep growing and contributing in this field.

I enjoy planning detailed travel itineraries, which allows me to explore new destinations thoughtfully. Through creating these plans, I learn about different cultures, traditions, and lifestyles, broadening my understanding of the world. This hobby fuels my passion for tourism and helps me develop organizational skills that are essential in my career as a tour guide.
