Doctoral student in Engineering Science - Computational Mechanics, at METU. Research area of interests are Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering and Earthquake Hazard Studies.
Student Assistant in the “122M244 - Tehlike-Tutarlı 2b Zemin Büyütmesi Ile Yakın Fay Direktivite Etkilerinin Orta Ve Yüksek Katlı Binalardaki Elastik Ötesi Deplasman Taleplerine Olan Katkısı: Izmir Örnegi” project under Assoc. Prof. M. Abdullah Sandıkkaya, funded by the Scientific Research and Technical Council of Turkey, 2022-2025. Mainly working on earthquake simulations and determination of region seismic parameters.
Student Assistant in the “121M717 - Regional Representation of Ground Motion Epistemic Uncertainty in Seismic Hazard Analysis of Turkey by Backbone Approach and Investigation of Its Common Impact” project under Assoc. Prof. Özkan Kale, funded by the Scientific Research and Technical Council of Turkey, 2021-2024. Mainly worked on the creation of the new and updated strong motion database of Türkiye.
Part-time student assistant for the Soil Mechanics Laboratory Class for the semested. Mainly assisted course lecturer for the preparation of lab equipment and conduction of the experiments.
To simulate different aspects of structural engineering, worked on a model project for a 4 story student dormitory (concrete structure), and a 2 story administrative building (steel structure). Learnt and further increased my affinity on how to use several engineering programs such as SAP2000, DeepSoil, and AutoCAD.
Observation of the construction site, "Merkez Ankara Project". Had the opportunity to engage in several construction stages, such as excavation, mat foundation assembly, structure frame and internal work construction.
Internship focus was the investigation of dams under construction under "General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works - 5th Region". 7 dams (1 Concrete, 6 Earthfill) under different stages of construction were observed.
