Main Responsibilities

Financial Controlling & Analyzing

• Review and approve monthly HFM packages of six division. Make necessary adjustments.
• Monitoring monthly KPIs (e.g: Gross Margin,Op.SG&A, Op.EBIT,OCF,NWC) to assist business for achieve the targets.
• Balance sheet review. Deep dive analyzing of inventories with supply chain team to identify excessive inventory balance (if any)
• Prepare quarterly bad debt adjustment, review stock obs. provision
• Leading warranty provisions / accrued expenses process with Project management team
• Prepare monthly flash sales report to the management
• Monitor & report monthly sales performance ( Order received - revenues - backlog)
• Variance analysis according to Act vs Budget , Act vs RF and Budget vs RF.
• Responsible of preparing rolling forecast for three division
• Assist for annual budget preparation process
• Monitoring customer payment performance. Report overdue by PG level to the management.
• Leading charge-out process. Preparing charge-out calculations according to agreement.

Project Controlling

• Leading project reviews, review full cost models, project milestones and cash flow effect. Monitor planned vs actual full cost models and define the deviations (if any)
• Monthly margin analysis by order level. Identify work-due provisions, WIP or revenue recognitions (if any)

Finance Transformation Project Lead

• Responsible of P2D ( Plan to Deliver) process of S/4HANA project.
• Define secondary cost elements, functional areas, cost center& Profit center mappings & hierarchies.
• Manage and guide IT team for creation of P&L in S/4HANA environment according to local ERP P&L structure.
• Assist and guide general accounting team for G/L mappings according to USGAAP
• Manages weekly update calls withing controlling community.
• Manages training plans for ABB Turkey for new features such as fiori app, SAC, MDG tool
• Identify system gaps, reporting issues. Escalate respective party to solve

Main Responsibilities

Essential Function 1: Reporting & Budgeting

• Supporting the monthly closing & reporting of financial results
• Actively participate in MFR process
• Preparing profitability analysis for business segments, products & customers
• Supporting various financial planning processes such as annual budgeting, rolling forecasts & business plan
• Reconciling FI and COPA for MFR purpose

Essential Function 2: Controlling and Analyzing

• Analyzing cost centers and variances. Maintaining cost centers, cycles and internal orders
• Analyzing NWC performance
• Strict Purchase Order Controlling
• Supporting finance and ERP teams & projects in Turkey and abroad
• Calculating slow movers in accordance with IFRS
• Implementing monthly costing run procedure
• Managing stock count procedure in difference plants
• Ensuring compliance to IFRS, group policies and internal control measures

Essential Function 3: Auditors, Consultants and Outside Contacts

• Catering to requirements of internal and external audits
• Providing consultation to businesses in cost, finance and related matters
• Preparing government reports such as Statistical Institute (TUIK) and Central Bank
• Close contact with GBS team

Essential Function 4: Representation and Presentation

• Point of contact in controlling department
• Preparing sales presentation for RCP
• Preparing CHOF presentation for Head of Finance
• Preparing monthly KPI presentation to BU Heads

Essential Function 5: Transfer Pricing

• Responsible from Transfer Pricing transactions
• Handling and maintaining TP Tool. Starting & finalizing BU needs in accordance with Clariant & local rules

• Preparing daily cash flow. Forecast on a montly/quarterly basis
• Prepare payment plans. Proceed the relevant payments with supervision of the Finance Manager
• Analyze supplier performance according to net working capital and report to the upper management
• Monitor bookkeeping activities of bank accounts
• Lead the finance team to make sure that all bookings are accurate
• Working closely with commercial/e-commerce departments. Assist them for the commercial decisions

• Responsible for management of Inventory, COGS calculation, Inventory adjustments, management of reserve calculation for general and specific situations, Month-end / Year end closings
• Maintain monthly closing processes to be performed accurately
• Maintain material information in the system to make relevant updates / corrections
• Prepare period-end closing reports
• Perform US GAAP/Local ledger controls during closing periods
• Track write off materials, including writing them off from the system, on weekly/monthly basis
• Activate new sku stock codes (finish goods, rack, spare parts, other Raw materials) in the system
• Perform inventory adjustments
• Prepare inventory count schedules, deliver inventory list for the count, compare inventory count results with the system, and prepare inventory count result reports
• Track in-transit inventory and batch closing process
• Define new organizations, subinventories and locators in the system
• Prepare Monthly KPI reports
• Prepare monthly Write off, period cost...etc
