Summary

I studied Business Administration (100% English) at Istanbul University and later took graduate courses in Accounting and Finance at Marmara University. I pursued my PhD in the Finance Department of the Faculty of Business Administration at Akdeniz University. During my education after university, I also developed myself in the business world. Besides my main duties, I took responsibility in issues that were not going well. I acted as an intermediary between tour operators and the Operations plus IT departments of a company to collect unpaid receivables. In another company, I identified the amounts of invoices that could not be delivered due to technical reasons. I issued and downloaded invoices to the clients' systems to ensure payment. In both cases, I utilized my technical skills and communication abilities. Even though it was not part of my job description, I managed to recover uncollectible funds for the companies in both situations, which would have remained unrecovered otherwise. In my last company, as a manifestation of this skill, I am involved in revenue recognition and receivable collection.

When it comes to my responsibilities in my job history, I have generally focused on establishing financial reporting, executing the reporting process, and working in the field of financial analysis. Additionally, I have worked on the establishment, monitoring, and enhancement of a standard costing system in an international company. Based on my successes in the collection of receivables that I have undertaken without an official job description, I have been serving as the head of income and credits for some time. I had to postpone changing jobs for a while because I needed to take the necessary courses to improve my skills in programming and accounting software. However, I now wish to work in a position and field where I can utilize my potential more effectively.
In this process, I aim to enhance the financial health of companies by combining my financial knowledge with my problem-solving skills. By leveraging my developed communication abilities, I strive to create a more efficient workflow by bridging different departments. In future career opportunities, I hope to utilize my experiences and skills to add value effectively.

I postponed changing jobs for a while due to the pandemic and the need for me to take courses to improve my skills in programming and accounting programs usage. However, I now want to work in a position and field where I can utilize my potential more effectively.
