Responsibilities / Job Description

• To manage production workload, capacity and back orders. To ensure relevant reporting.
• To gather all forecast data from customers. Carry out MPS and S&OP activities using forecast data.
• To manage raw material requirements planning for direct orders. Make forecasts for future raw material demand and inform purchasing department.
• Defining Manufacturing Lead times for new orders and inform Quotation department
• Plans daily work schedule (in terms of batches per day) of Quality & Plating and Laboratory Departments to ensure daily stock target is met.
• To define and establish planning policies and system for different items and customer orders. To ensure that all parameters in ERP system for items are correctly set.
• Responsible for weekly, monthly and quarterly output of 6 production lines in "Titanium Unit Production Area" which covers 40% of total manufacturing of Factory.
• Uses all authorities which have been given by Supply Chain Manager

Achievements

• Worked with colleague production planning engineer to increase 19% in daily output at the end of 8 month period by making a job shop scheduling for 3 forging machines in order to decrease setup time between forging operations. Resulted in more pieces/day forged.
• Applied line balancing to 3 production lines to match with increased pieces per day supplied from forging operation and increased FIFO rate.
• Raw Material Budget allocation project for 2023 and 2024 accomplished with colleague Production Planning Engineer and Supply Chain Manager

• Reviewed financial statements with staff accountants.
• Assisted with account reviews and preparation for account reviews.
• Carried out day-to-day duties accurately and efficiently.

• Worked with field engineer in Eskisehir Factory for layout planning improvement to decrease "Dead Area" in 9 Liter Ecotorq Motor-head sub-assembly line bottleneck.
• Presented to factory management a feasible solution to decrease the dead area in sub-assembly line by 8%. Resulting 3% increase at production rate for given sub-assembly line.
