Senior Systems Engineer with extensive systems engineering background and holding Electrical and Electronics Engineering bachelor’s degree and MBA post graduate degree. Carrying out systems engineering activities throughout the system's life cycle and successfully completed aircraft mission system project consists of complicated systems. My perspective and systems approach have evolved in many ways thanks to my background as a hardware engineer and later working as a systems engineer on software-oriented projects.

  • Technical project management activities in an aircraft mission system modernization program for developing and integrating airborne mission system.
  • Leading the project team consists of Systems, Software/Hardware, System Integration, Test, Configuration, ILS, QA/QC engineers and technicians.

Systems Engineer

  • Carrying out Systems Engineering activities in a mission aircraft development program for designing state-of-the-art sensors/equipment integrated airborne mission system. Sensors that I have experienced in mission system integration are: RADAR, IFF, EO/IR, NAV (INS/GPS, ADC), FMS, AIS, RADIOS, ESM, and ACOUSTIC SYSTEM as well FIRE CONTROL SYSTEM.
  • Responsible for defining the need, conceiving well-defined requirements, constituting behavioral, functional and physical architectures.
    ▪ Participated in an international project with THALES Aerospace Systems (TAS) and trained by TAS in Brest, France for six months about systems engineering and IVVQ activities for MELTEM program.
    ▪ Knowledge and experience in communication protocols such as MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, AFDX as well as RS232/422/485, Ethernet and Discrete.
    ▪ Knowledge and experience in equipment qualification process according to standards such as MIL-STD-810/461/704 and DO-160.
  • Knowledge and experience in SW integration to SBCs, debugging, and verification through Linux shell.
  • Knowledge and experience in high-level HW design with COTS/MOTS LRUs.
  • Knowledge and experience in interconnect design in the aircraft. Leading the preparation of wiring interconnect, cable design documents, drawings and parts lists.
  • Attended to the NATO NIAG study group about Anti-Submarine Warfare operations with Maritime Unmanned Systems.
  • Published a paper about “Cybersecurity concerns regarding federated, partly IMA and full IMA implementations” at DASC 2019

Hardware Engineer

  • Havelsan was awarded by best supplier reward from Raytheon and succeeded to deliver six-shipset units on time in my leadership of production, IVVQ and acceptance activities to Raytheon and ATLAS Elektronik.
  • Participated in an international project with foreign contractors Raytheon and ATLAS Elektronik and trained by Raytheon in Rhode Island, USA for two months about torpedo control system with regard to hardware, software and testing.
  • Production management (Harness production and Circuit Card Assembly production): According to IPC/WHMA-A-620 and IPC J-STD-001 and certified with CIS (Certified IPC Specialist) from IPC.
  • Preparation of Design Documents, Drawings and Parts Lists by using Design Tools (AutoCAD) according to technical agreements.
  • Designing compatible with MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-810 and testing in accordance with the military specs.
  • Responsible for application of Electrical Safety Tests, applied both cables, CCAs and units, which are Ground Continuity, Ground Bond, Insulation Resistance, Hi-Pot, Line Leakage.
