

Between 2005 and 2019, I gained experience in various fields within the public sector, and since 2019, I have been working in the private sector.
I spent approximately 8 years working in Human Resources in the public sector, and around 5 years in Production Planning and Management/Process Management roles in both public and private sectors. Additionally, I worked in e-commerce for 1.5 years and gained experience as a freelancer in areas such as organizational management related to Japanese Culture and Language and translation of news articles.
I completed my undergraduate studies in Industrial Engineering at the National Defense University between 2001 and 2005. Subsequently, from 2011 to 2013, I completed my master's degree in Industrial Engineering at the same institution. My master's thesis focused on the "Applicability of Lean Production Techniques and Theory of Constraints" in detail. I am good at English at a B2 level and have intermediate proficiency in Japanese. I have obtained certifications for passing the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) at N3 and N2 levels.
Areas where I feel confident include the analysis of ERP and ERP system operations, production planning, ERP Production Planning Module, data analysis, Lean Production, Kaizen, scheduling, value stream mapping, 5S, theory of constraints, bill of materials, capacity planning, and process analysis. I have a good command of Microsoft Excel and typically perform analyses using Pivot Tables. Additionally, I have been learning Microsoft Power BI for some time and have a moderate level of knowledge. I am currently learning Python programming language, particularly in the field of machine learning, at a beginner level.
I am a person who values planned and disciplined work, open to continuously learning new experiences, and committed to self-improvement with goals for the future. In my professional life, I have embraced the fundamental principles of Lean philosophy, namely "Creating Value" and "Eliminating Waste". I believe that process analysis is crucial for the success of a system. Therefore, I believe in the holistic examination of all processes of a system, not just specific stages. My responsibilities included:
* Analyzing losses and wastes in sales made to sales points and coordinating with the sales department to identify reasons for these losses, and taking steps to eliminate and improve waste/lost rates.
* Detecting the causes of loss and waste by conducting on-site inspections.
* Analyzing the sales amount (money), sales tone, and sales losses/wastes according to sales points and products to present chairman of the board.
* Examining the reasons for sales points and products decreasing in terms of sales quantity and sales tone and increasing in terms of loss/waste and supporting taking improving measures.
This company manufactures cutting tools, such as end mills and drill bits.
My responsibilities included:
* Creating production plans utilizing UYUMSOFT ERP System and Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
* Scheduling job orders based on delivery dates and organizing them by workstations.
* Creating new methodologies to improve the planning process and results.
* Analyzing effective production time, machine downtime, and total production time.
* Identifying the reasons for machine downtime and presenting efficiency improvement suggestions.
* Developing value-stream maps for products with high sales rates.
* Conducting safety stock levels for finished and semi-finished products, and creating production plans for items below safety stock levels to identify risks and opportunities.
* Conducting raw material levels, MRP, and preparing raw material order reports by identifying high-usage materials (specifically for diameters).
* Providing comprehensive production reports to management, including orders, production times, deliveries, etc.
* Collaborating with company leaders to support consistency and best practices.
* In this company, the number of work orders open at any moment was over 100, and manually tracking those work orders was not so efficient. In this way, I designed a new screen for online monitoring of production status, including waste rate, according to the workstations. I got the IT team to write software to monitor the production status of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Due to the relocation of the factory to Kırıkkale, I had to leave the company.

I executed meetings with public and private institution in Türkiye and activities during the preparation phase, focusing on developing plans for the event.
Unfortunately, the fair was ultimately canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
