• The most crucial step for our university club to carry out its activities was to secure financial resources. With this aim in mind, I took on the responsibility and became the club's finance director. I established direct communication with hundreds of large, international corporations and companies. Thanks to the positive relationships I built and my persuasive skills, I secured many sponsors for our club, significantly boosting our funds. While achieving all of this in close collaboration with other departments in the club and my colleagues working above and below me, I greatly improved my teamwork and communication skills. Additionally, to ensure swift progress, I utilized the initiative given by our club president to single-handedly secure sponsorships from major banks in Turkey for our club.

• Through the provided trainings, I gained detailed knowledge of applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Canva. I gained experience in reporting and presentation techniques. I acquired the corporate communication jargon and culture, and I was trained on proper emailing methods. I was informed about the structure, departments, positions, and responsibilities within companies. Specifically, I learned in detail what tasks the finance department in any company is engaged in and how they should be carried out. I took economics courses from renowned economists across the country, evaluated recent economic crises together, and made various observations and analyses. In other words, I had the opportunity to communicate with them one-on-one and benefit from their experiences. I met with managers from all departments of the company, receiving valuable advice on career planning and being trained through significant experience sharing. In short, with this internship, I gained substantial experience by learning the work culture of a company, the fundamental things every employee should know, furthermore the detailed specifics that employees working in the finance field need to know.
