

I am a Spanish teacher with people management responsibilities specialized in Spanish as a Foreign Language.
I have 18+ years of extensive international experience studying and working in Spain, Italy, Denmark, Ireland, Morocco and currently Turkey.
My passion for becoming a global citizen has allowed me to, not only teach Spanish to people from more than 25 nationalities, but to convey the importance of open-mindedness and respect between different cultures to my students.
I am also always learning new languages and, so far, I am fluent in Spanish and English, I am conversant in Catalan, French and Italian, I have a basic level of Danish and I am currently taking private lessons of Korean.
My personal interests include:
• Volunteering: e.g. Painted school in Sahara, Taught in an Orphanage in Bulgaria.
• Gastronomy of the world and healthy food: learning Japanese and Korean cuisine.
• Animals: mother of two lovely dogs. Volunteer at dog shelter in Istanbul (2012 – 2015)
• Sports and Meditation: Hiking (Camino de Santiago, 500km in 24 days, Jacobean year 2010), Pilates, Yoga and Vipassana retreats in Siena, Italy, Crete, and Greece.
• Music: Learning how to play the flute.
