Anıl Kavak

I am currently involved in the "Connecton Project" at İstinye University, led by Dean Okan Yaşar. The Connecton Project aims to connect companies with universities. In my role, I am responsible for overseeing meetings, managing email correspondence, and monitoring the protocol processes. I have been in this position for two months, and my primary goal is to gain insight into the processes involved in IT-related meetings and to further develop my skills in this area.

• Scheduled and facilitated meetings between project stakeholders to discuss deliverables, schedules and conflicts.

• Worked to build relationships with customers and built potential for additional sales.
• Boosted sales by consistently engaging with customers and addressing their needs effectively.
• Developed relationships with clients for increased loyalty and repeat business.
• Collaborated with team members to reach collective sales goals, fostering a supportive work environment.
• Although I was normally a salesperson, I also played a leading role in stock tracking, warranty product tracking and shift arrangements.
• My goal is to make sales above my personal target for two months.
• I left this job because working full-time made it difficult to keep up with my studies. While I gained valuable experience in sales, my primary goal is to create and contribute in the field of informatics. This focus on informatics led me to decide not to continue in this role.

I started my retail career at Swarovski, a well-established brand. I received extensive training in sales, including techniques for attracting and engaging customers, which I effectively applied in my work. In the first few months, I focused on sales and successfully converted frequent customers into loyal clients. I also concentrated on e-commerce clients, maintaining contact with them outside the store to boost sales. After a few months, I took on additional responsibilities, such as team motivation, customer relations, and inventory management with supervisors.
