- Leading teams to carry out initial examination, preliminary inquiry, investigation, preliminary examination, final examination, exemption examination, on the spot inspection and to prepare report or annotation about the results of the examinations;
- To submit developments in specified markets/sectors with coordination of the relevant unit and to submit them as quarterly reports to the Presidency, depending on database of the Authority;
- To submit reasoned proposal to initiate sector inquiry and to support the sector inquiry to be made in coordination with Economic Analyses and Research Department, to make analysis in collaboration with other departments for identifying effects of Board decisions to the economy in general or to certain sectors, where necessary, or to request such analysis from relevant units;
- To follow Board decisions, relevant court decisions and recent developments in competition law, to ensure that tasks and proceedings are performed in compliance with Board decisions and case law of courts; to save information obtained with respect to developments in the doctrine or court decisions regarding subjects under scope of the Authority's purview in database of the Authority, in coordination with the relevant unit;
- To provide technical assistance to the Department of Decisions, upon request, in process of preparing reasoned decision, to evaluate drafts and to give opinion where necessary;
- Representing the TCA at international, governmental and academic seminars and meetings;
- Leading teams of competition experts to analyze the privatization proposals and developed official opinion of TCA and to prepare various secondary legislation
