Projects
Advanced Parking Guidance and Tracking System with IOT, 10/2022, 01/2023, Dr.Öğr. yesi Abdullah SEVİN, In my final work, the computer (client) and the Deneyap Kart 1A microcontroller (server) communicate in the client and server architecture. RFID card data read from the RC522 RFID Reader card connected to the microcontroller is transferred to the computer via wifi and the user information entering the parking lot is recorded in the database together with the entry time by the C# application. When the recording is completed successfully, the computer sends a response to the server and the servo motor connected to the microcontroller is activated and the barrier is removed. During the check-out process, the RFID card is read into the reader and the card identification number is sent to the computer. The relevant user data is pulled from the database on the computer and the required fee is sent to the server. The server asks the user to read the card again to pay the fee. The card is scanned and the fee information in it is updated in the card. After this process, the server computer sends the remaining fee information on the card to the client. The client sends this information, the date of entrance to the parking lot and the fee paid to the user's e-mail address. Meanwhile, on the server side, the servo motor is started and the barrier is removed so that the vehicle can exit the parking lot. Vacant and occupied space information in the parking lot is kept in Firebase, a Real-Time Database platform. This information is displayed to users through the mobile application I developed on the MIT App Inventor platform, and users can be directed to the relevant parking lot on the map.
